The Society maintains an index of Members who are willing to help their fellow Members by looking up specific enquiries in their local Record Office or library.
Not all counties in the British Isles are covered yet, but some overseas members have offered help in their countries.
On receipt of a request for help, the register will be searched for the name and address of a helper in the area required.
A search of the register is free of charge on receipt of a SAE or IRCs.
To ensure that this valuable service can continue, any WSFHS member able to offer some help with searches in his or her local Record Office or library is asked to get in touch.
