Walton-On-Thames Centre

Hersham Centre for the Community, 7 Queens Road, Hersham, KT12 5LU

Meetings take place in the main hall of the Centre which is situated in Hersham Village opposite to the green. Access is to the rear of the Centre.
Parking is available including designated parking spaces for the disabled; the parking area is accessed directly from Queens Road.
The 458 bus route is adjacent to the Centre with a last bus to Walton/Staines at 9.00pm and one to Kingston at 10.03pm.
Walton on Thames station is less than a mile away.

In this talk Ian will tell us about the acquisition of the WW2 records by the National Archives at Kew with hints and tips for reserching them.

Informal Meeting - Visit to the National Archives at Kew.
For all members who would like to visit The National Archives at Kew we will coordinate car share and accompanied public transport journeys to Kew to follow up on our last speakers talk.
